Life is exhausting, and there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. Trying to figure out where to start with your dog, how often should you work with them, what is too much, can get so confusing and stressful. I am here to make your life easier. When signing up for a program, I will set you up to succeed by answering all of your questions and creating a personalized plan for you and your dog.

Passionate about listening to your needs to achieve your goals, while helping you learn everything about your dog!
Throughout my last 10 years of studying animals of various species, I have learned what I am truly passionate about and enjoy doing in life.

I love learning about dogs (and animals) and the reasons behind their behavior

I love watching dogs (and animals) grow through training with them

I love talking with other people about what I have observed and learned along the way, helping them get as much joy out of it as I do!
Putting all of the above together I realized that becoming a dog trainer is the perfect combination. I get to learn about dogs and the reasons behind their behavior, watch them grow through their training sessions, and talk with their owners about the whys and watch their bond grow over time!
What have I done in the past 10 years to learn all of this?

Worked as a Vet Tech in a vet clinic

Studied abroad in Australian learning about their native species

Learned A LOT about dog behavior through many years and levels at a dog daycare company

Became an educator at three different zoos educating guests about animals and the natural world

Became an animal trainer working with a wide variety of species

Working with and becoming a trainer with a local dog training company while living in Kansas

Having a fear-reactive dog of my own (lots of training hours!)

Continue learning through educational webinars and from each dog I meet every day!
Dog training is all about problem solving. Because I have worked with so many dogs and different animal species, I am able to set back, look at a situation, and problem solve to find the right solution!

Force Free and Reward Based Training
In a world where things are also "on the go" we are making sure that our training methods are based off of the most up to date, science-based, human methods. We make sure that each person and dog feels safe and comfortable during training sessions. Training sessions with us are filled with positive, calm, and fun energy! Using rewards that work for the dog and you, from treats to pets, verbal praise, toys, play and other reinforcers! We do not allow any physical or verbal pain during our training sessions including (but not limited to) aversive collars, leash/collar corrections, yelling, physical pain etc.
Inclusiveness and Collaboration
We are here to fit your needs. We strive to listen to our clients and focus on positive ways to meet their goals while understanding their dog in full. We understand that not all dogs are the same, nor are all dog owners or their lifestyles. We want to build a mutual trust and partnership with you to work together on reaching your goals and elevating the bond between you and your dog!
Education
We strive to help you understand everything about your dog, while also continuing our education of general dog knowledge! We will make sure that things are broken down for you and that you understand how to work with your dog between sessions and after a program is finished. We will teach you tools to help you succeed throughout the entirety of your dog's life. We will also continue to expand our personal education about general dog knowledge, as new techniques are studied, and new research is conducted.
